Sitios para perderse: Béjar

Este fin de semana, hemos estado visitando un pueblo amurallado de la provincia de Salamanca llamado Béjar. A pesar del calor que ha hecho, me ha sorprendido por la cantidad de rincones bonitos que tiene como por ejemplo, el Bosque o la Plaza de Toros, que es la más antigua de España. Uno de los monumentos más emblemáticos del lugar es El hombre de musgo, ya que cuenta la leyenda que los bejaranos se cubrieron de musgo para reconquistar el pueblo en manos de los musulmanes. No nos podemos ir tampoco sin probar sus tapas, gratis con cada consumición que pidas.

I have spent this weekend in a fortified town of Salamanca (Spain) called Béjar. In spite of the hot weather, it has been a surprise for me because it has many beautiful places such as the Wood and the Bull ring (the oldest of Spain). One of the most emblematic monument of this place is The moss man, as the legend tells that the residents of Béjar covered themselves with moss in order to reconquer the town that was on the hands of the Muslims. I recommend to eat their "tapas" (small pieces of food), free when you buy a drink in a bar.
